We are seeking an up-and-coming Licensed Carpenter with natural leadership abilities and a strong passion for siding installations to guide our busy exterior crew. While you will oversee general exterior residential projects, including windows and doors, your primary area of focus will be executing and leading premium siding overhauls.

You will lead by example on site, ensuring our loyal clients receive high-end finishes, perfect lines, and weather-tight building envelopes. Because we like to showcase our hard work, you should be comfortable using social media to capture clean, professional before-and-after photos or quick project videos that highlight our craftsmanship. If you are a perfectionist who loves interacting with homeowners, leading a crew, and wants to transition into a long-term Foreman or Project Lead position, this role is built for you.

• Lead premium exterior siding projects from setup to completion, ensuring flawless execution of vinyl, fiber cement (James Hardie), wood, or composite siding systems.
• Showcase your craft on social media, capturing high-quality before-and-after photos, 'clean job site' snapshots, or short video clips to celebrate the crew's hard work.
• Oversee structural prep work, handling framing modifications, sheathing repairs, and managing rotting wood replacement smoothly before siding application.
• Ensure bulletproof building envelopes, paying meticulous attention to house wrap, flashing, custom aluminum brake capping, and weatherproofing to guarantee a lifetime seal against Eastern Ontario weather.
• Lead on-site operations with a sharp eye for quality control, keeping siding lines, corners, trims, and soffit/fascia work perfectly true and level.
• Execute precise installations of high-quality replacement windows and exterior door systems as required by the project schedule.
• Mentor and direct your team, instilling a deep respect for trade precision, clean job sites, and client property.
• Maintain communication with the office, comfortably using basic digital tools to check day-to-day project specs or log completions.
• Provide exceptional customer care, serving as the professional, courteous, and reassuring on-site point of contact for our dedicated local clients.

• Valid Ontario Carpentry License (Red Seal / General Carpenter 403A Certificate of Qualification).
• Advanced expertise in siding systems (vinyl, Hardie, wood, composite) and custom trim integration.
• Proficiency with an aluminum brake for custom, clean metal capping, window wraps, and trim wrapping, and clean professional caulking.
• Social media literacy — comfortable taking crisp smartphone photos/videos on site and collaborating with our team to show off completed projects.
• A customer-first mindset — you are approachable, professional, articulate, and take pride in homeowner satisfaction.
• Demonstrated leadership potential — you are motivated, reliable, organized, and hold yourself to a higher standard.
• Valid Ontario G Driver's License with a clean abstract to operate company vehicles.
• Safety Certifications: Working at Heights (Ministry of Labour approved) and WHMIS are required.
• Basic tech adaptation — ready and willing to adopt simple digital tools (like basic phone/tablet apps) to assist with daily job tracking and communications.
